Dmitry Andreyevich Shepelev was born on January 25, 1983, in Minsk, Belarus. He attended Gymnasium No. 11 for his secondary education and began working in television at the age of 17 on the program "5x5."

Radio and Television Career in Belarus

At the age of 20, Shepelev became a DJ at Minsk's most popular radio station, "Alfa-Radio." He also achieved success on Belarusian television, working for channels such as "ONT" and "Belteleradiocompany." In 2004, he received an offer from the Ukrainian music channel M1 and moved to Kyiv.

Rise to Fame in Ukraine

In Kyiv, Shepelev hosted several shows, including "Guten Morgen" and "Fabrika Zvyozd 2." His popularity skyrocketed after the first season of "Fabrika Zvyozd," which became one of the most successful projects in Ukrainian television history.

Breakthrough in Russia

Shepelev's talent caught the attention of Channel One in Russia. He initially combined his Kyiv commitments with work in Moscow, hosting the project "Mozhesh? Spoi!" (Can You Sing?). In 2009, after a successful debut as one of the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest final, he relocated permanently to Moscow.
