Early Career and Successes

Dmitry Hrynchenko, a Ukrainian amateur boxer, began his boxing journey in Kremenchuk. Under the guidance of Bogdan Gonchar, he trained diligently at the local SDUESHO and pursued his education at the Ostrogradsky National University. In 2011, Dmitry showcased his skills at the Minsk tournament, emerging victorious against Turkish world championship medalist Sincer Yakup. In the semi-final, he narrowly lost to Russian champion Vitaly Duunaytsev, earning a bronze medal.

International Accolades

In 2012, Dmitry's talent shone at the 46th International Makar Mazay Memorial Tournament. He triumphed in all four fights, defeating opponents from Kazakhstan and Ukraine. This victory marked a significant milestone in his career.

European Championship Silver

Later that same year, Dmitry competed at the European Championship in the 64 kg weight class. He dominated the preliminary rounds, reaching the semi-finals, where he overcame a highly skilled German boxer.
