Donald Driver is an American football player and children's author. He received his education at Alcorn State University, where he was actively involved in football and track and field. By the end of his college career, Driver had recorded 88 receptions for 1,993 yards, averaging 19.69 yards per catch. He was widely recognized as one of the most outstanding athletes in the league, known for his high jump skills and potential to join the Olympic team in 2000. He was awarded "Athlete of the Year" five times for his football and track and field achievements.

Professional Career
Driver's professional career began in 1999 when he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 7th round of the NFL draft. Throughout his career, which as of 2012 he is still a part of the Green Bay Packers, Driver consistently showcased exceptional performance. In 2006, he caught the most passes in the middle of the field. On November 12, 2006, Driver set a personal record by catching 6 passes for 191 yards, including an 82-yard touchdown. By the end of the season, Driver ranked among the top five receivers in the league, with a total of 1,295 receiving yards. He also set a record for the most receptions in a year with 92 catches in 2006. On October 18, 2009, Driver became the team's all-time leading receiver with 596 catches. In a game against the Detroit Lions, he caught 6 more passes for a total of 107 yards. On September 8, 2011, Driver caught 4 passes for 41 yards in the opening game against the New Orleans Saints. He broke the team's overall receiving yardage record on November 18, 2011, in a game against the Carolina Panthers.

Beyond the Field
In addition to his football career, Driver has been involved in various other endeavors. Since 2004, he has hosted a state-level television project called "Inside the Huddle with Donald Driver." Moreover, he discusses football with John Mercure on the program "Wisconsin's Afternoon News with John Mercure" every Thursday. From the early days of his sports career, Driver has been actively engaged in charitable activities. In his first season in 1999 alone, he participated in 300 charitable projects. In the spring of 2001, Donald and his wife Betina established the "Donald Driver Foundation," which supports children with illnesses, homelessness, and other needs. In December 2003, the foundation successfully provided two homeless families with fully furnished homes. Driver also actively supports organizations such as the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Goodwill Industries. Interestingly, Driver's sports experience is reflected in three children's books: "Quickie Handles a Loss," "Quickie Makes the Team," and "Quickie Goes to the Big Game." These books originated from homemade bedtime stories he used to tell his children. They are now sold throughout the state.
