Donna Scott's Obesity Journey to Transformation
Pre-Weight Loss:A 31-year-old Scottish woman named Donna Scott from Glasgow, Scotland, struggled with obesity. Her diet consisted primarily of unhealthy takeout foods and six cans of sugary Coca-Cola daily, leading her weight to rise to 212 pounds (96 kg).

Recognizing the Need for Change
In 2011, Donna realized the need to lose weight for her upcoming wedding. While she managed to shed some weight, it wasn't until Christmas 2013 that she fully grasped the extent of her weight gain. Seeing herself in her sister's wedding photos as a bridesmaid sparked her determination to change.

Breaking the Addiction to Sugar and Processed Foods
Determined to make a difference, Donna cleared her kitchen of junk food and embarked on a fitness journey. She recognized the dangers of sugar, having witnessed her father's diabetes diagnosis five years prior. With the support of a personal trainer, she began exercising regularly, incorporating cardio and weightlifting into her routine.

Losing Weight and Transforming Her Diet
Over the course of a year, Donna lost over 50 pounds (23 kg). She replaced her unhealthy snacks with healthier options, including protein chew bars and low-calorie protein crisps from Musclefood. To cater to her cravings for sweets, she found alternatives such as low-fat chocolate yogurt and chocolate cottage cheese with strawberries.

Healthy Eating Habits
Today, Donna's diet emphasizes nutritious and home-cooked meals. She typically eats oatmeal or bagels for breakfast, eggs for lunch, and home-made dishes like chili con carne for dinner. She also indulges in occasional snacks like fruit or protein yogurts.

Motivation and Success
Donna's inspiration for her weight loss came from within. She believes in self-motivation and encourages others to find their own reasons for making positive changes. She now proudly gives herself a "high five" in the mirror, acknowledging her achievements and the significant transformation she has undergone.
