Donna Simpson: The Woman Who Wants to Be the World's Heaviest
Donna Simpson, an American woman, has made it into the Guinness World Records as the heaviest woman to become a mother. She aspires to become the heaviest woman on Earth by reaching her goal weight of 1000 pounds (454 kg). However, even with a daily diet of 12,000 calories, she is not gaining weight as quickly as she would like. In June 2010, her weight was 602 pounds (273 kg), with a body mass index of 103.9. In 2008, she weighed 628 pounds (285 kg). Simpson sells her photos on a website to support her food expenses.

Biography of Donna Simpson
Donna Simpson, the youngest of four children, was born in 1967 in Mogadore, Ohio. As a child, she became accustomed to her mother overfeeding her and the rest of the family. At the age of 9, she already weighed 184 pounds (83 kg). She was teased and bullied at school for being overweight and wearing glasses. After her mother's death, her father remarried. Her stepmother was shocked by Donna's size and took her to a doctor who prescribed weight loss pills. However, Donna would sneak food from the kitchen, which only worsened the situation.

As a teenager, Donna tried taking diet pills herself in an attempt to lose weight. By the age of 18, she had successfully lost weight and reached 154 pounds (70 kg). In 1986, she graduated from high school and decided she did not want to stay thin. At the age of 19, she met Robert Simpson, a chef at a steakhouse, and they got married five years later. Robert loved Donna's voluptuous figure and would bring her leftovers from the restaurant kitchen. Donna gave birth to a son but later divorced Robert. Around the same time, her father, concerned about her increasing weight, asked her to go on a diet, and Donna lost 70 pounds (32 kg) in six months.
In 2006, Donna met Philippe Gouamba, a lover of larger forms, in an online chat for women with excess weight. Gouamba found Donna more attractive the more she weighed. They planned to marry in a romantic ceremony on Maui Island but broke up in 2001. In February 2007, with the help of a cesarean section and a team of 30 doctors, Simpson gave birth to a baby girl named Jacqueline. By that time, her weight had reached 532 pounds (241 kg), making her the heaviest woman in the world to give birth. Six months after her daughter's birth, Donna decided that her goal was to weigh 1000 pounds. However, she developed diabetes and high blood pressure during pregnancy, and it is uncertain what will happen to her health if she reaches her goal. Gouamba was one of her biggest supporters and encouraged her on her journey, claiming that if weight gain made Donna happy, so be it.
Simpson claims that her weekly food expenses amount to $600-750. She consumes around 12,000-15,000 calories per day. Her typical menu includes four burgers, french fries, a loaf of bread with peanut butter and jam, four servings of meatloaf and mashed potatoes, a large pizza, a chocolate cake with ice cream and whipped cream, twelve cupcakes, two cheesecakes, and soda. She particularly loves sushi and can eat up to 70 pieces in one sitting. To reach her goal weight as quickly as possible, Donna tries to minimize physical activity.
In November 2007, Donna launched her own website. Subscribers pay a small fee to access her photos and videos of her eating, as well as waist measurements, if they can still be called a waist. Within a year, Donna had 260 subscribers, ranging from 20 to 68 years old. She also posts her videos on YouTube and visits websites for overweight people, boasting about her food preferences. Thousands of fans flock to her website, and some even send her food. Donna has received offers to write a book and appear in reality shows. Additionally, she aims to challenge negative stereotypes about people suffering from obesity.
