Dudu Cearence: A Brazilian Footballer
Dudu Cearence, born on April 15, 1983, in Fortaleza, Brazil, is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Greek club Olympiacos and the Brazilian national team.
Early Career
During his youth, Dudu played for the club "Ceara" in Brazil. In 2000, he transferred to the team "Vitoria" in Salvador, where he spent four seasons.
International Experience
In 2004, Dudu signed a contract with the Japanese club "Kashima." Although the team performed poorly in the championship and finished last, they managed to defend their place in the top division in the playoffs.
After an unsuccessful season in Japan, Dudu moved to the French club "Rennes" in 2005, where he played 15 matches and scored one goal.
In 2005, Dudu signed a contract with Moscow's CSKA, with whom he became a two-time champion and winner of the Russian Cup. He made his debut for CSKA in a match against Zenit St. Petersburg on April 17, 2005, coming on as a substitute in the 77th minute.
Transition to Greece
In early 2008, Dudu expressed his desire to move to the Brazilian club "Gremio," but the management of CSKA did not let him go, and the Brazilian understood and respected their decision. In the summer of 2008, he transferred from CSKA to the Greek club "Olympiacos" for 6 million euros. In the 26th round of the Greek championship, Dudu scored the "golden" goal, which brought another gold medal to Olympiacos.
Future Transfers
On April 8, 2011, Dudu signed a contract with the Brazilian club "Atletico Mineiro." The contract was valid until June 2014.
In July 2012, being a free agent, Dudu approached the management of CSKA and asked for an opportunity to prove himself. He participated in training sessions with the club but failed to convince the coaching staff to sign him. As a result, on September 8, Dudu was presented as a new player for the club "Goias."
In January 2014, he signed a six-month contract with the Greek club OFI. In June 2014, as a free agent, Dudu signed a contract with the Israeli club "Maccabi" from Netanya. He played two matches in the Israeli Cup with his new team. In January 2015, he moved to the Brazilian club "Fortaleza."
