Early Life and Education

Born to parents of Azerbaijani descent, the Ukrainian politician hails from Odessa, where he graduated from the Odessa Maritime College in 1985. He furthered his education in 2005, obtaining a degree from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

Career in Industry

Prior to entering politics, the politician held various positions in the industry sector. He worked as a rescue sailor, an operator at the Kirovohrad oil depot, and held leadership roles in several companies, including "Kirovogradglavsnab" and "Interresources."

Political Career

Kirovohrad Oblast Governor

In 2005, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Kirovohrad Oblast State Administration, serving until 2006. During his tenure, he supported the presidential campaign of Viktor Yushchenko.

Parliamentary Deputy

The politician was elected to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) in 2006 and 2007, representing the "Our Ukraine" and "Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense" blocs respectively. He served on committees related to economic policy, transportation, and communication.

Membership and Affiliations

The politician is a member of the European Party of Ukraine and holds the third rank of state service. He was the former head of the Kirovohrad Oblast branch of the Our Ukraine party.

Personal Life

The politician is married and has two sons.
