Meet Edith Kirmayer: The Oldest Driver in the USA
Edith Kirmayer, a resident of California, has been driving for a remarkable 88 years, making her the oldest driver in the United States. At the age of 107, she shows no signs of giving up driving. "I just couldn't imagine myself without a car," Kirmayer said in an interview with FoxNews.com. Having recently passed another driving exam, she feels particularly confident and safe behind the wheel. Remarkably, throughout all these years of driving, Kirmayer has never been the cause of a road accident or incident. "I think I'm a pretty good driver," she confidently states.

A Lifetime of Achievements
Apart from holding the title of the oldest living graduate of the University of Chicago, Kirmayer celebrated her 105th birthday on "The Ellen Degeneres Show." She has also been a dedicated volunteer for the non-profit organization, Direct Relief International (DRI), for the past 40 years. On Kirmayer's birthday, DRI volunteers lit virtual candles in her honor on a special Facebook application. Today, Edith Kirmayer is officially recognized as the oldest licensed driver in the country.
