Early Life and Family

Egor Grebennikov was born on April 27, 1972, in Odessa, Ukraine. His father, Alexei Stavnitser (1942-2011), was an entrepreneur who founded the port operator "Transinvest Service" (TIS). His younger brother, Andrei Stavnitser (born 1982), is also an entrepreneur and a co-owner of TIS.

Early Career

After graduating from Kharkiv Technical College in 1990, Grebennikov worked in a startup team that raised funds for retail stores. In 1995, he interned in the economics and logistics departments of Electrolux and Zanussi in Vienna.

Joining the Family Business

In 1996, Grebennikov joined his family's business, TIS. He was responsible for financial planning, loan acquisition, and supply chain management. He also oversaw the operation of supermarkets and engaged in nationwide food wholesaling.

Business Ventures and Education

In 1998, Grebennikov founded his own business in auto logistics. He earned an MBA from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in 2001.

Social Impact and Leadership

In 2014, Grebennikov founded the Impact Hub Odessa, a center that supports social initiatives. He also invested 13 million hryvnias in the restoration of the Green Theater in Odessa.

Current Role at TIS

As of 2018, Grebennikov is a co-owner of TIS and manages the finances of its subsidiaries, TIS-Container Terminal and TIS-Coal.
