Biography of Yegor Zaitsev
Childhood and YouthYegor Vyacheslavovich Zaitsev was born on February 8, 1960. His mother, Marina, was a talented artist who worked at the controversial studio of Eli Belutin's "New Reality," which was criticized by Nikita Khrushchev in December 1962. Yegor's parents met in college and were involved in amateur activities together. Despite coming from different backgrounds – Marina from an elite family and Vyacheslav Zaitsev, Yegor's father, from a working-class background – they developed a connection. They got married in 1959 and lived in a basement room of a multi-apartment building for nine years. When Yegor was born, his mother's mother refused to take care of him, and Vyacheslav had to bring his own mother to Moscow. Yegor himself studied and worked from morning till night. In 1971, he went to Hungary to work on costumes for the film "Hold on to the Clouds." When he returned, his stepmother kicked him out, claiming to have found another husband for her daughter in the circus, where Marina worked as a designer. Yegor stayed with his mother and only communicated with his father over the phone and occasionally saw him on television. Fashion and Creativity
After graduating from the Moscow State Textile University named after A.N. Kosygin in 1983, Yegor continued his creative career at the newly opened House of Fashion on Prospekt Mira, which later became the Moscow House of Fashion Slava Zaitsev. He and his father worked on different floors and had different views on art. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich said that he worked for people, while Yegor worked for the idea, and it didn't matter to him if anyone needed his designs or not.
Yegor Vyacheslavovich was also a creative designer for his own brand, YeZ by Yegorzaitsev, and worked at the Z'S Models modeling agency, which had its own Instagram account featuring photos from fashion shows and magazine covers, including a joint photo of the Zaitsev father and son with model Christy Turlington. In addition to this, Yegor Zaitsev Jr. was engaged in artistic creativity and painted a picture called "Christmas Tree" in 1996, which became part of the classic New Year's painting collection. He also designed the official uniform for the Russian national team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, which received a lot of criticism during the show. After the birth of their daughter Anastasia, Zaitsev Jr. became kinder and more philosophical. In 2012, he visited his father for Christmas, and since then, they have become closer.
According to Yegor Vyacheslavovich, their relationship was hindered for many years by a municipal deputy from "United Russia" named Nikolai Golovin, who used to be a dancer at the Bolshoi Theater and later became the deputy director of the House of Fashion Slava Zaitsev.
