Early Life and Education
Elena Vankevich was born in Moscow on May 13, 1966. She completed her undergraduate studies in 1987 at the Belarusian State Institute of National Economy named after V.V. Kuybyshev. In 1994, she earned her postgraduate degree from the Belarusian State Economic University, and in 2001, she obtained her doctorate from the same institution.
Career
Academic PositionsFrom 2005 to 2011, Vankevich held the position of Head of the Department of Management at Vitebsk State Technological University. Since 2011, she has been serving as Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at the university.
Research Interests and Contributions
Labor Market SpecialistAs a renowned labor market scientist in Belarus, Vankevich serves as a national expert on the subject. She is regularly consulted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection for her insights in analyzing and regulating the labor market.
