Elizabeth Jean "Busy" Philipps, born on June 25, 1979, is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her supporting roles in the television series "Freaks and Geeks" and "Dawson's Creek".

Early Career
Philipps' acting career began at a toy fair where she played Barbie. Her first significant role came in the television series "Freaks and Geeks" where she appeared in all eighteen episodes as Kim Kelly. She later made her way into the big screen with a role in the 2000 comedy film "The Smokers" and had appearances in several television series. In 2001, Philipps was cast as Audrey Liddell in the cult teen drama series "Dawson's Creek", where she appeared regularly in the fifth and sixth seasons, totaling forty-six episodes. She received a Teen Choice Award nomination for her portrayal of Audrey. In the same year, Philipps ranked fifty-eighth on Maxim magazine's annual list of "100 Sexiest Women".

Continued Career
Philipps went on to star in two more films, the 2002 drama "Home Room" and the 2004 comedy "White Chicks". In 2005, she was cast in the television series "Love, Inc.", which ran for one season. Rumors suggest that the role was initially intended for "Beverly Hills 90210" star Shannon Doherty. In 2006, Philipps made periodic appearances in "ER" as Hope Bobeck.
