Elizabeth was known for her dark hair and love of horses. In 1917, the family was forced to flee Greece following King Constantine's abdication. They settled in France, where Prince Nicholas taught painting for a living.

Marriage

On January 9, 1934, Princess Elizabeth married Count Carl-Theodor zu Toerring-Jettenbach, a descendant of the Bavarian Wittelsbach dynasty. The couple had two children: Hans Feith (born 1935) and Helena Marina (born 1937).

Later Life

After her marriage, Elizabeth became known as Countess von Toerring-Jettenbach. She continued to paint and pursue her other interests, including riding. She remained close with her sisters, who also married into royal families. Elizabeth passed away at an unknown date.
