Early Life and Disability

Ukrainian swimmer Valeria Pankratova has overcome significant challenges to become a champion. Despite using a wheelchair, she has pursued her passion for swimming with unwavering determination.

Training and Achievements

Pankratova trains at the Kherson Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports for the Disabled ("Invasport"). Her hard work and dedication paid off when she achieved remarkable success at the 2014 European Championships, where she became a multiple champion and two-time silver medalist.

International Success

In 2015, Pankratova rose to international prominence at the World Championships, capturing three gold medals and two silver medals. She continued her impressive streak at the 2016 European Championships, where she won multiple gold medals (in 200m IM, 100m freestyle, 400m freestyle, and the 4x50m freestyle relay), as well as two silver medals (in 100m breaststroke and 50m freestyle) and a bronze medal (in 100m backstroke).

Recognition and Awards
