Emanuele Belardi: Overview

Emanuele Belardi is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He has played for several clubs throughout his career, including Reggina, Napoli, Modena, Catanzaro, Juventus, Udinese, and Grosseto.

Early Career

Belardi began his professional career in 1995 with Reggina. He initially served as the team's backup goalkeeper until the 2000/2001 season, when he became the starting shot-stopper.

Journey Through the Italian Leagues

In September 2004, Belardi left Reggina for Napoli, which had been relegated to Serie C1. He spent five months with Napoli before moving to Modena, where he again played as a backup to Giorgio Frezzolini. In 2005/2006, Belardi went on loan to Catanzaro. He returned to Reggina at the end of the season.

Juventus and Stints with Other Clubs

In the summer of 2006, Belardi joined Juventus as a backup to Gianluigi Buffon. In the 2007/2008 season, he made several appearances due to Buffon's injury. In 2008, Belardi was loaned to Udinese.

Return to Reggina

In January 2012, Belardi signed a contract with Reggina, the club where he had begun his career. He played for the club until the end of the 2012/2013 season.

Later Career

After leaving Reggina, Belardi played for Grosseto in Serie B from 2013 to 2015. He retired from professional football at the end of the 2014/2015 season.
