Early Life and CareerJohann Friedrich Karl von Hefele was born on October 20, 1804, in Leipheim, Bavaria. He studied theology at the University of Tübingen and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1829.
Pastor in Dresden
In 1833, Hefele became a pastor in Dresden, where he played a significant role in the organization of church and community life. His contributions in this area were reflected in his later writings, published in the "Protestantische Kirchenzeitung."
Theological Works
Hefele was a prolific writer and published numerous works on Christian doctrine and history. Some of his notable works include:
- "Die Hauptpunkte der christlichen Glaubenslehre" (1865): A systematic exposition of Christian beliefs.
