Early Years and Club Career

Emiliano Viviano, an Italian goalkeeper, began his career as a youth player for Brescia. However, he made his professional debut with Cesena on loan. Upon his return to Brescia, he became their starting goalkeeper for four seasons.

Inter and Bologna

In January 2009, Inter acquired Viviano but loaned him back to Brescia. In July 2009, Bologna purchased half of his rights from Inter. A "blind auction" later gave Inter full ownership of Viviano.

Genoa and Palermo

As part of a swap deal with Genoa in 2011, Viviano joined the Genoese club, but remained on loan at his previous team for the 2011/12 season. In January 2012, he signed with Palermo until 2016.

International Career

Viviano represented Italy at various youth levels, including the 2008 Summer Olympics. He earned his first senior call-up in 2010 and made his debut for the Azzurri against the Faroe Islands, preserving a clean sheet.
