Emilio Audero: From Indonesia to Juventus Goalkeeping Star

Born on January 18, 1997, in Mataram, Indonesia, to Edith and Antonella Mulyadi, Emilio Audero is an Italian professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Juventus.

Early Life and Juventus Academy

At the tender age of one, Audero's family relocated to his mother's hometown of Cumiana, Italy, near Turin. In 2008, at the age of 11, he caught the eye of Michelangelo Rampulla, who brought him into the Juventus Academy youth system. As a member of the Primavera squad, Audero reached the final of the Campionato Nazionale Primavera, narrowly losing to Roma in a penalty shootout.

Club Career: A Rise Through the Ranks

Audero received his first call-up to the Juventus first team on November 30, 2014. Upon turning 18 in 2015, he signed his first professional contract with the club. With the departure of Rubinho in 2016, Audero became Juventus's third-choice goalkeeper. He made his Serie A debut on May 28, 2017, in Juventus's 2-1 victory over Bologna.

International Career: Dual Nationality and Promise

Audero has represented Italy at various youth levels since 2012. He participated in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship with the under-17 team but did not feature in any matches. Born in Indonesia, Audero has yet to play for any senior national team, leaving him eligible to represent both Italy and Indonesia in the future.
