Biography of Emily Jane Atack
Emily Jane Atack is a British actress, best known for her role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in the popular series "The Inbetweeners". She is also remembered for her roles as Kelly Lang in "Blue Murder" in 2007 and Cathy Dee in "Heartbeat" in 2008. In addition to her acting career, she has also appeared in various women's magazines.
Early Life and Family
Emily was born in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, into a family of actress Kate Robbins and musician Keith Atack. Her younger sister, Martha Elizabeth, and younger brother, George Timothy, were also born in Bedfordshire. At the age of 17, Emily became her own agent.
"Dancing on Ice" and Other Projects
In the beginning of 2010, Emily joined the popular ITV project "Dancing on Ice" where she performed with professional skater Fred Palascak. They were eliminated from the show in the eighth week. In 2011, Emily starred in a social advertisement called "Ready, Steady, Drink" which focused on the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption.
Idols and Dreams
Emily considers Ricky Gervais and Tom Hanks as her idols. Her dream role is to play one of James Bond's many iconic female characters. In her free time, Emily enjoys shopping and tanning in tanning salons.
Busy Schedule
Unfortunately, Emily has limited free time due to her busy schedule. She typically wakes up around 7am, takes a quick shower, and has breakfast. Auditions usually start around 9:30am. Most of her day is spent in London, where she has lunch, dinner, and spends time with friends. Emily also makes sure to visit the gym, as maintaining a fit physique is important for actors in today's industry. However, she also enjoys watching football matches with friends at the pub. Sacrifices have to be made with such a demanding schedule, and for Emily, it is maintaining a tidy home. According to her, her room looks like a clothing store after a terrorist attack. Nevertheless, this minor flaw does not affect her acting abilities.
