Emma Wilson was born into a family of sailors, with her mother, Penny, competing in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. Wilson began sailing at a young age, winning the U15 Techno 293 World Championship at age 12. She later took up windsurfing and rapidly rose through the ranks.

Junior Success and International Recognition

RS:X World Junior Champion: 2016, 2017

Wilson's talent and dedication became evident as she claimed consecutive RS:X World Junior Championship titles in 2016 and 2017. Her performances earned her the recognition of British Sailing, who awarded her the Windsurfer of the Year 2017/18.
