Early Life
Erica, whose real name is Nastya, was born on April 13, 1989, in Chervonograd, Lviv Oblast. During her summer vacations, she often stayed in Chelyabinsk, where her grandparents lived. From a young age, Erica was passionate about music and dreamed of becoming a singer. Her idols included Jennifer Holliday, Eva Cassidy, and Robin Thicke. She started professionally training her vocals at the Reverans children's studio. Erica made her debut on stage at the age of 7 and has since won numerous national and international competitions. She participated in the "Christmas Holidays" festival in Lviv and became a laureate of the competition.
Education and Career
Erica enrolled at the Ivan Franko National University, where she studied foreign languages, specializing in English translation. She worked as an office manager, a vocal teacher, and gained experience in sales. At the age of 17, she participated in the "American Chance" project in California, USA, and became one of the members of the group "Glam." Unfortunately, the group disbanded due to financial difficulties. In the same year, Erica tried her luck on the "Fabrika Zvezd" project but did not succeed. She continued her studies at the university while working as a vocal teacher.
Breakthrough and Success
A few years later, Erica joined the "Fabrika Zvezd 3" project, where she adopted the pseudonym "Erica." She also participated in the "Fabrika. Superfinal" competition, where she took second place. In the summer of 2010, she performed at the "Songs of the Sea" festival, representing Ukraine and receiving the audience's prize. Erica recorded the song "Не тормози" and released a music video for it in November 2010. She was also recognized as one of the 25 most beautiful women in Ukraine by the magazine "Viva" in 2010. Currently, Erica is an artist under the UMMG production center and is managed by the CEO of "Russkoe Radio in Ukraine," Sergey Kuzin.
Reality Show Journey
In 2009, Erica became a contestant on the popular reality show "Fabrika Zvezd-3." Although the jury initially felt that she did not measure up to the other contestants, her fellow participants believed in her talent, allowing Erica to remain in the competition. She successfully made it to the final and secured the 6th place. During the show, Erica formed a duet called "St.ereo" with Stas Shurins. In March 2010, she became a participant of the show "Fabrika. Superfinal" based on the results of an online vote. This final brought together the best contestants from all three seasons of the show. Erica reached the finale alongside Alexey Matias and Dmitry Kadnaev, leaving behind the winners from previous seasons. She ultimately secured the 2nd place in the competition. Erica and Stas Shurins decided to part ways after the "Superfinal," but they remain friends.
