Early Life and Career

Erosi Kitsmarishvili was born in Rustavi, Georgia, in 1965. He initially pursued a career in medicine, graduating with a degree in pediatric pediatrics. However, witnessing the precarious state of healthcare in Georgia, he shifted his focus to entrepreneurship.

In 1996, Kitsmarishvili established Rustavi-2, a television company. Until 2003, he served as its CEO. After the "Rose Revolution" in 2004, he sold his shares in Rustavi-2 to venture into other fields.

Political Career

Kitsmarishvili became president of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Subsequently, he served as the Ambassador at Large to the United States.

Ambassador to Russia

In February 2008, Kitsmarishvili was appointed as Georgia's Ambassador to Russia. His nomination was unanimously supported except for two deputies. He replaced Irakli Chubinishvili, who had resigned.

Personal Life

Kitsmarishvili is married to Ia, a renowned beauty pageant host and model. They have three children together. In his leisure time, he engages in mountaineering and tennis. These activities provide him with mental clarity and focus.
