Biography of Evgeniya Pasternak
Evgeniya Borisovna Pasternak, a contemporary Belarusian writer, gained wide recognition for her romantic novels, as well as her works for children and computer literacy guides. She was born in Minsk on May 6, 1972. In school, she had a great love for physics and literature, but she decided to pursue a degree in physics at the Belarusian State University. It was at the insistence of her husband, Andrei Zhvalevsky, a renowned Belarusian writer and screenwriter, that she began writing. Zhvalevsky later became a co-author of many of her books.

Her first published work was a self-help guide titled "Computer for Women," which was followed by other guides for female computer users and internet enthusiasts: "Internet for Women" and "Excel 2010 for Women." However, many readers consider her best works to be her literary fiction pieces, such as the novels "M + Z." Her fairy tales, including "The True Story of Grandfather Frost," "The Hunt for the Basilisk," and "I Want to Go to School," have also received critical acclaim. Additionally, her science fiction novella, "Time is Always Good," has captivated readers.
