Early Life & Education

Yevhen Olehovych Konoplyanka was born in Zaporizhia, Ukraine, on September 26, 1989. He began his football career at the age of seven, joining the local karate club. Konoplyanka's youth training took place at FC Olympik Kirovohrad, under coach Yuri Kevich.

Club Career

FC Dnipro (2006-2015)

Konoplyanka signed with FC Dnipro in 2006, making his league debut against FC Zakarpattia in 2007. He established himself as a regular starter in the 2009-10 season, showcasing his impressive technical ability. In 2010, he was named Ukrainian Footballer of the Year.

Sevilla FC (2015-2016)

In 2015, Konoplyanka joined Sevilla FC, where he made his debut in the UEFA Super Cup against Barcelona. He scored his first goal for Sevilla in the same match, becoming the fourth Ukrainian to score in a UEFA Super Cup.

FC Schalke 04 (Loan)

In 2016, Konoplyanka was loaned to FC Schalke 04 for a season. He made his debut against FC Bayern Munich and scored his first goal for the club in a Europa League match against FC Krasnodar. Konoplyanka continued his strong performance, contributing goals and assists in various competitions.

International Career

Ukraine Youth Teams

Konoplyanka represented Ukraine at the U-17, U-19, and U-21 levels. He was part of the team that won the 2009 Valeriy Lobanovskyi Memorial Tournament.

Ukraine Senior Team

Konoplyanka made his debut for the Ukraine national team in 2010. He has been a key player for the team, scoring 13 goals in 60 appearances as of 2016.

Personal Life

Konoplyanka is married to Viktoria Shymanska, and they have a daughter named Zlata.
