Petro Petrunyak: Ukrainian Politician and Lawyer
Education and Legal CareerPetro Petrunyak is a Ukrainian lawyer, politician, and Member of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada). He holds a law degree from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Petrunyak is the director of L'Ex-K Law Firm and has practiced law for over 20 years. He is a member of the Lviv Region Bar Association.
Political Journey
In 2010, Petrunyak ran for a seat on the Lviv City Council as a candidate for the Ukrainian Social Democratic Party.
He later became an assistant-consultant to Member of Parliament Oleksandr Hudyma.
In 2019, Petrunyak successfully ran for a seat in the Verkhovna Rada as a member of the Servant of the People party.
Parliamentary Roles
In the ninth convocation of the Ukrainian Parliament, Petrunyak serves on the Committee on Finance, Taxation, and Customs Policy.
He is also the deputy head of the parliamentary group for interparliamentary relations with Albania.
