Biography of Evgeniya Osipova
Evgeniya Osipova, an actress and model, was born on May 24, 1986, in Tula, Russia. At the age of nine, her father passed away, and her mother took on the responsibility of raising her. Despite financial difficulties, when fourteen-year-old Evgeniya expressed her desire to attend modeling courses at the "Golden Ratio" school, her mother gave her a choice: new pants or one month of training. Evgeniya chose the latter.

Thanks to the "Golden Ratio," Evgeniya's photographs caught the attention of Moscow, and she was soon invited to work as a model at the "Mademoiselle" agency. From there, the "girl from the countryside" made her way to the French agency "Catherine." Interestingly, Evgeniya never felt insecure about her background. On the contrary, she was proud of being born and raised in Tula, as she believed that people are kinder the further away they are from Moscow.
Despite her rapid rise in the modeling industry, Evgeniya did not intend to dedicate her entire life to it. She had heard too many negative stories about the business. However, her life took a turn when she happened to meet Sergey Bezrukov and his wife Irina. While hitchhiking, Evgeniya was picked up by a luxurious BMW, and to her surprise, it was Sergey Bezrukov inside. This unexpected encounter changed her life.
Evgeniya admitted that she used to think of actors as lifeless people. However, Sergey Bezrukov proved her wrong. They struck up a conversation during the ride, and she shared her aspirations of becoming an economist. Sergey Bezrukov, however, told her that it would be boring and encouraged her to pursue a career in acting. Not only did he offer advice, but he also helped her prepare for entrance exams at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI), formerly known as GITIS.
With such guidance, it was no surprise that Evgeniya was accepted into the acting program at RATI. During her studies, she began appearing in films. Her first roles were small parts in the series "Dear Masha Berezina" and "The Bachelors." In "The Bachelors," she portrayed the first love interest of Dmitry Pevtsov's character. Working with him was easy for Evgeniya, as he was not only a professional but also a down-to-earth and cheerful person.
Evgeniya graduated from RATI in 2007 and was subsequently accepted into the Satire Theater. In the same year, she was offered the leading role in the Russian-Ukrainian series "Dairy Maid from Khatsapetovka." Evgeniya portrayed Katya Matveeva, a naive and touching girl who moves from a distant village to Moscow to enter a food institute and eventually become the head chef of a renowned restaurant. The capital city, however, does not welcome her kindly, with exam failures, short-lived dishwasher jobs, and theft at the train station. Nevertheless, she perseveres and ultimately finds her happiness.
The modern Cinderella story of "Dairy Maid from Khatsapetovka" brought Evgeniya the love of millions of viewers. The sequel, titled "Dairy Maid from Khatsapetovka. A Challenge to Destiny," was released the following year. Besides Evgeniya, the film also starred actress Maria Kulikova (the character undergoes plastic surgery after surviving an aircraft crash). According to many viewers, the sequel was considerably weaker than the first film.
In addition to "Dairy Maid from Khatsapetovka," Evgeniya Osipova has appeared in several other series, including "I'm a Detective" (as maid Yulia), "Champion" (as young Tina), and "The Redhead" (as Masha). She has upcoming projects lined up, continuing her journey as a talented and intriguing young actress.
