Ezequiel Lavezzi is an Argentine football player who plays as a forward for the French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Argentina national team. Lavezzi started playing for the Argentine youth national team in 2005 and was selected for the senior team in 2007. Biography

Ezequiel Lavezzi was born on May 3, 1985, in Villa Gobernador Galvez, Argentina. He developed a passion for football from a young age and was a devoted fan of Rosario Central, a club he even played for and got a tattoo of on his back. As a teenager, Lavezzi attempted to sign a contract with Boca Juniors' youth team but ended up joining Rosario Central, where he spent eight seasons.

He made his professional debut at the age of 18 in 2003, playing for Estudiantes (BA) in Buenos Aires. However, European clubs became interested in him, and he moved to Genoa. He was later loaned to San Lorenzo in Argentina, where he became a key player in the attacking line. In his first season, Lavezzi appeared in 18 matches and scored eight goals, including one against the unstoppable champions, River Plate. His impressive performances earned him the nickname "la Bestia" (The Beast).

In 2007, Lavezzi transferred to Napoli, where he further developed his skills and gained international recognition. The transfer fee was €6 million, which was considered a smart investment as he became a star player capable of scoring incredible goals in unexpected moments. In his time at Napoli, Lavezzi appeared in over 150 matches and scored 38 goals.
