Fabian Frankel: A Rising Star in British Cinema

Early Life and Family Background

Fabian Frankel, born on April 6, 1994, in London, is a product of a multicultural heritage, descending from Indian, Jewish, and French ancestry. His artistic lineage is evident in his great-grandfather, a renowned violinist and conductor, and his great-grandmother, a celebrated pianist.

Tragically, Fabian's father, Mark Frankel, passed away in a car accident when he was just two years old. Mark had made a name for himself with roles in films such as "The Vampire Clan" and "Leon the Pig Farmer." With the loss of his father, the family faced significant financial difficulties. Fabian's mother was pregnant with his younger brother, Max, at the time. Both boys grew up in a creative environment, developing their talents and eventually pursuing acting careers.

Education and Training

After graduating high school, Fabian joined the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, alma mater to actors like Alan Rickman, Michael Caine, Anthony Hopkins, and Tom Hiddleston. He later honed his craft at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2017.

Film Career

Fabian's breakthrough came in 2019 with a minor role in the romantic comedy "Last Christmas," starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. His next significant project was the multi-part crime drama "The Serpent," which chronicled the real-life crimes of serial killer Charles Sobhraj. Fabian portrayed Dominic Renello and worked alongside Jenna Coleman, who became his love interest both on and off screen.

Personal Life

Fabian has kept his personal life largely private. However, speculation suggests he is in a relationship with Jenna Coleman, sparked by their public appearances at events and his occasional social media posts featuring her.

Tragedy in the Family

Apart from his father, Fabian also lost his uncle, Joe, who died in a plane crash three years before his birth. His father was deeply affected by this loss, and in 1996, his grandparents suffered the devastating blow of losing their second son.

Current Projects

Fabian's career is on the upswing. In August 2022, he will star in the highly anticipated "House of the Dragon," a prequel to the iconic "Game of Thrones" series. He plays the pivotal role of Ser Criston Cole, a skilled swordsman and the son of the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.
