Fahreddine Ben Youssef: Tunisian Footballing Ace
Early Career in TunisiaFahreddine Ben Youssef embarked on his football journey with Sfaxien, a Tunisian club. In 2012, he made his debut in the Tunisian league during a match against La Marsa. His first goal for Sfaxien came in a game against Djerba on May 20th. Ben Youssef's contributions helped the club secure victory in the 2013 championship.
Stint in France and Return to Tunisia
In early 2015, Ben Youssef moved to the French club Metz. He debuted in Ligue 1 on April 18th, playing against Lens. Seeking more playing time, he returned to Tunisia and joined Espérance in the summer of 2015. He made his debut for the club in September and scored his first goal for Espérance in October. The team claimed the championship title once more in 2016.
Saudi Arabian Adventures
Ben Youssef joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittifaq in early 2018. His debut in the Saudi league came on February 3rd against Al-Fateh. He scored his first goal for the team on February 10th, playing against Al-Fayha.
International Career
Debut and First GoalOn November 14th, 2012, Ben Youssef played his first match for the Tunisian national team in a friendly against Switzerland. His inaugural goal came on December 30th, during a match against Iraq.
2013 Africa Cup of Nations
Ben Youssef participated in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, representing Tunisia in three group stage matches against Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, and Algeria.
