Early Life and Education
Farid Aliyev was born on March 29, 1975, in Baku, Azerbaijan. He completed his secondary education at A. Azimzade Art School in 1994 and subsequently enrolled in the Design Department of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Aliyev pursued his musical training at Baku Musical Academy, where he developed his lyrical tenor vocal range.
Professional Career
In 1999, Aliyev became a soloist at Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater. He has performed in numerous acclaimed productions, including "The Merry Widow," "Maritza," "Silva," and "The Furious Gascon." He has also created memorable characters in several operatic works, such as "Natavan," "Shakh Ismail," and "Koroghlu," at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
Opera Studio
Aliyev is a soloist at the Shovkat Mammadova Opera Studio within Baku Musical Academy. He has portrayed lead roles in operas such as "La Bohème," "La Traviata," "Cavalleria Rusticana," "Faust," and "Eugene Onegin." In 2004, he earned a Master's degree from Baku Musical Academy.
Teaching
Since 2008, Aliyev has imparted his vocal expertise as a lecturer at the Faculty of Music and Arts at Khazar University. He also teaches at Fidan Hajieva's Vocal School.
Awards and Recognition
Farid Aliyev has been honored with the Presidential Prize on several occasions, including May 6, 2015, May 6, 2016, May 1, 2017, and May 9, 2018.
Personal Life
Aliyev is married and has two children. He is actively involved in state and official events.
