Early Life and Education
Farit Akhmadullovich Isangulov, a prominent Bashkir writer and educator, was born on March 6, 1928, in the village of Karamanbashevo, Bashkir ASSR, into a peasant family. He spent his childhood in the village of Uteyullino, Aurgazinsky district. After graduating from high school in 1945, Isangulov enrolled in the Bashkir Pedagogical Institute, majoring in Bashkir language and literature.
Teaching and Publishing
In the period of 1949-1951, Isangulov taught at the Bishaul-Ungarovskaya school in Karmaskalinsky district, rising to the position of assistant director. From 1951 to 1957, he worked at the Bashkir Book Publishing House as a senior editor. In 1957, he became Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Agidel."
Literary Career
From 1958 to 1960, Isangulov attended the Higher Literary Courses at the Union of Writers of the USSR. Upon graduating, he returned to his position as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of "Agidel" and also served as a literary consultant for the Union of Writers of Bashkiria.
Literary Accomplishments
Isangulov received the Salavat Yulaev Prize in 1970 for his novel "Aryshbashigy" ("Ear of Rye"). His literary contributions left a lasting mark on Bashkir literature.
Passing
Farit Akhmadullovich Isangulov passed away on May 20, 1983. His untimely demise was a great loss to the Bashkir literary community.
