Biography of Fedor Rakushin

Fedor Rakushin was a poet and a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR, receiving this honor in 1974. He published his first collection of poems in 1968.

Early Life and Career

During the Great Patriotic War, Fedor Nikolayevich worked as a lathe operator at a military plant in Kuznetsk. After the war, he graduated from the Kuibyshev Engineering and Land Reclamation Institute in 1954 and went on to work as a forester in the Kostroma, Ulyanovsk, and Penza regions.

Rakushin had a deep understanding and love for nature, which is reflected in his poetry. His verses are characterized by a heartfelt and melodic tone, as well as a unique philosophy. From 1953, his work began to be published in various publications.

Later Years and Achievements

In 1963, Fedor Rakushin moved to Penza, where he continued to write and publish his poetry. His first collection of poems was published in 1968, and in 1997, he received the Prize of the Administration of the Penza Region for his achievements in literature.
