Early Career
Marco Carobbio began his football journey in the youth ranks of Atalanta. During this time, he spent several seasons on loan at clubs in Serie C1 and Serie B, gaining valuable experience.
Return to Atalanta and Breakthrough in Serie B
In 2000, Carobbio moved to Varese, before returning to Bergamo and joining AlbinoLeffe in June 2002. With AlbinoLeffe, he was instrumental in the team's promotion to Serie B.
Serie A Debut and Transfer to Genoa
On August 25, 2005, Carobbio made his Serie A debut with Reggina against Sampdoria. After 18 months with the club, he transferred to Serie B side Genoa in January 2007, playing eight games before returning to AlbinoLeffe.
Move to Bari and Loan to Grosseto
In June 2009, Carobbio signed a three-year contract with Bari. However, he did not make any appearances for the club and was subsequently loaned out to Grosseto on August 31, where he remained until the end of the season.
