Early Life and Career

Born around 220 AD, Antiochianus' father is believed to have been Flavius Antiochius, who served as Praetorian Prefect during Emperor Elagabalus' reign. Antiochianus' early career included a term as suffect consul, though the exact year is unknown.

Rise to Prominence

In 269-270 AD, Antiochianus held the position of Prefect of Rome. He reached the pinnacle of his political career in 270 AD when he became Ordinary Consul alongside Virius Orfitus.

Second Term as Prefect of Rome

In 272 AD, Antiochianus was appointed Prefect of Rome for a second time. It is speculated that he may have been responsible for the construction of the Baths of Antiochus in Rome.
