Early Life and CareerFran González, a renowned Spanish footballer, spent his entire career as a midfielder for Deportivo La Coruña. He made his professional debut on August 31, 1991, in a match against Valencia. With his exceptional skills and determination, he quickly became a key player for the Galician club, missing only 8 matches in his first 5 seasons at Riazor.
Club Career
Fran's exceptional performances caught the attention of La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. Despite signing a preliminary contract with Real Madrid, Fran remained loyal to Deportivo. He captained the team and played a crucial role in their historic La Liga triumph in the 1999-2000 season, appearing in 22 games during the title-winning campaign.
