Dettori's first victory came in November 1986 in Turin. By 1990, he became the first teenager since Lester Piggott to achieve 100 wins in a season. His exceptional performance at Ascot Racecourse on September 28, 1996, cemented his status as a legend, winning all seven races on the day.
