Jan de Natris was a Dutch footballer who played as a defender for the renowned Amsterdam club Ajax. Born in the Netherlands, he excelled not only in football but also in track and field, demonstrating his athletic versatility.

De Natris joined Ajax in the early 1910s and quickly became an integral part of the team's defense. Alongside Fons Pelser, he formed a formidable partnership that helped Ajax secure two Dutch Championship titles in 1918 and 1919. The team also triumphed in the Dutch Cup in 1917.
During his tenure with Ajax, de Natris played in 175 championship matches, showcasing his consistent performances and unwavering dedication to the club. In August 1919, he received two call-ups to the Dutch national team for friendly matches against Sweden and Norway, although he ultimately did not play in either encounter.
Track and Field Achievements
Beyond football, de Natris was an accomplished sprinter. He was part of an Ajax relay team that included Hein Delzen, Jan van Dort, and de Natris himself. Notably, de Natris possessed exceptional speed, clocking an impressive 11.1 seconds in the 100-meter race.
