Early Life and Education

Galina Bezruk was born in the city of Kramatorsk, located in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. Her childhood was filled with a variety of artistic pursuits. Along with attending general education school, she studied violin at a music school and sang in a vocal and choreographic ensemble called "Zernyashki."

At the age of eight, Bezruk enrolled in a theater studio and began performing on the stage of the "Bam-Buk" youth theater. After relocating to the capital of Ukraine, Bezruk was admitted to the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema, and Television named after I. K. Karpenko-Kary.

Theater Career

During her university days, Bezruk made her adult theater debut at the Les Kurbas Center in Kyiv. In 2015, she joined the Moscow Musical Theater, where she has portrayed notable roles such as Sonya in the rock opera "Crime and Punishment," directed by Andrei Konchalovsky.

Film Breakthrough

Bezruk made her film debut in a minor role in the seventh season of the detective series "Return of Mukhtar." She subsequently appeared in various supporting roles, including "Jamaica," "Female Doctor," and "Personal Case." Her breakout role came in the romantic drama "While the Village Sleeps," where she played the character of Oksana.

Rise to Stardom

In 2015, Bezruk starred in the Ukrainian-Russian melodrama "Private Interest." The film established her as a leading actress. She continued to garner critical acclaim for her performances in "The Last Janissary," "Servant of the People," and the comedy series "The Last Moskal."

Music and Television Shows

While still a university student, Bezruk co-founded the musical group "Switch On The Light." She has also performed extensively as a soloist, recording several songs and releasing a music video for her track "Nebo Tebe." Bezruk has participated in the television projects "I Am an Artist" and "The Voice of the Country," where she reached the finals.

In 2016, she represented Ukraine at the "New Wave" festival in Sochi, Russia. She performed the hit song "Freedom" from the film "The Blues Brothers" and received the highest possible score.

Personal Life

Bezruk was once romantically linked to the television star Aleksandr Golovin. However, they later described their relationship as friendly. While working on the melodrama "While the Village Sleeps," she met her future husband, actor Artem Alekseev. They were married in 2016 and welcomed their daughter, Vasilisa, in December of the same year.

Current Projects

Bezruk's filmography includes dozens of works, including the melodramas "Hotel Eleon" and "Conductor," and the musical theater production of "Ghost." She continues to develop her career in both theater and film.
