Soviet Educator and Chemist

Anna Aleksandrovna Alekseeva (dates unknown) was a Soviet educator and chemist. She served as the director of Obninsk School No. 1 from 1949 to 1960 and was awarded the title of Honored Teacher of the School of the RSFSR in 1953.

Career

After her tenure as director, Alekseeva transitioned to the State Committee of the Council of Ministers for Vocational and Technical Education. She served as a senior engineer in the Department of External Relations from 1960 to 1962.

Subsequently, she became the Head of the Scientific and Technical Information Department at the Physics and Energy Institute. She held this position from 1962 to 1967.

Alekseeva actively participated in the public life of Obninsk, contributing to the development of educational and extracurricular opportunities for the students of School No. 1.

Personal Life

Alekseeva was married to Iosif Titovich Tabulevich (March 2, 1906- November 26, 1994). Tabulevich was a recipient of the unofficial title "Father of the City" for his significant contributions as one of the first and leading builders and administrators of Obninsk.

Family

Her son, Yuri Aleksandrovich Boretsky (1935-2003), became a renowned Soviet and Russian director and actor.

Her grandson, Oleg Yuryevich Boretsky (December 29, 1963- June 7, 2020), also pursued a career in the entertainment industry as a director, producer, and actor.

Alekseeva's great-grandson, Ilya Olegovich Boretsky, was born in 1996.
