Early Life and Education
Гамлет Гурбанов was born in 1938 in a family of renowned artists. His mother, Gulnar Gasanova, was an opera singer, while his father, Agadadas Gurbanov, was an actor. His name was a tribute to the revered character of Shakespeare's "Hamlet," a play that was successfully staged at the time.
Gurbanov inherited his passion for the stage from his parents. He received his formal training at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts, graduating in 1961 under the tutelage of Mehdi Mamedov.
Theatrical Career
From 1961 to 1992, Gurbanov was a prominent figure on the stage of the Azerbaijan Drama Theater. His versatility and talent allowed him to portray a wide range of characters, each with its own unique essence.
