Gary Jones: Actor and Screenwriter
Gary Jones, a Welsh actor and screenwriter, is best known for his role as Walter Harriman in the television series Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.
Early Career: Improvisation with Second City
Before joining the Stargate franchise, Jones was a member of the improvisational group "Mission Impossible." In the mid-1980s, he joined Toronto's Second City Improv Company. With Second City, he traveled to Vancouver, where he performed an improvised show at the Expo's Flying Club for six months.
Transition to Acting
After completing his tour with Second City, Jones settled in Vancouver and began his acting career with guest appearances in television series. He has since starred in numerous films and television shows, including:
