In 1981, Mamedov graduated with honors from the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute of Arts, majoring in violin and studying under the guidance of V.I. Reider. Throughout his career, he performed as part of various musical ensembles, including the legendary "Firuza," "Gunesh," and "Ashkhabad," contributing to iconic albums such as "Instrumental Ensemble 'Firuza'" (1979), "Gunesh - I See the Earth" (1984), and "Ashkhabad - City of Love" (1993).
