Biography of Henrik Danielyan
Early Life and CareerHenrik Muradhanovich Danielyan (Armenian: Հենրիխ Մուրադհանի Դանիելյան) was born on November 7, 1940, in Sevan, Armenia. He is a renowned judge and former chairman of the Court of Cassation in Armenia. In 1957, he graduated from a local high school and started working as an operator at the Sevan "Armrybtest" fishery. From 1960 to 1963, he worked as a literary contributor and head of the department at the newspaper "Sevan."
Early Career and Judicial Journey
From 1963 to 1965, Danielyan served as the first secretary of the Sevan District Committee of the Leninist Communist Youth League. He then worked as the responsible secretary at the newspaper "Sevan" from 1965 to 1969. During this time, he also completed his distance education at the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University from 1961 to 1967.
In 1969, Danielyan was elected as a judge in the Sevan District. He became a member of the Supreme Court of Armenia in 1977. From 1998 to 2005, he held the position of Chairman of the Court of Cassation in Armenia. On June 9, 2005, he was appointed as a member of the Constitutional Court of Armenia by the decree of the President. He holds the title of "Judge of the Highest Qualification Class."
