Early Career in Chile

Herson Acevedo, a Chilean footballer, embarked on his professional journey in 2006 with Colo-Colo. After six appearances, he moved to Unión Española in 2007, where he played 14 matches. His stint at Puerto Montt proved brief, with no games played before joining Antofagasta in 2008. There, he made 10 appearances before returning to Puerto Montt for the entirety of 2009, once again without any matches.

Trial in Armenia and Move to Russia

In winter 2010, Acevedo trialled with Pyunik Yerevan and participated in the Commonwealth Cup of Champions. However, he failed to impress the club. On February 11, 2010, he made history by becoming the first non-continental player to join Ural. In 2011, he transferred to Mordovia.

International Career

Acevedo represented Chile at the youth levels, playing for both the U-17 and U-20 teams. He received his first senior call-up on July 28, 2011, for a match against France. A second call-up followed on September 2 for a game against Spain. Acevedo made his international debut on September 4 in a match against Mexico, playing the first half.
