Early Life and Career
Gianluca Naso was born on January 6, 1987, in Trapani, Sicily. Standing at 6'3" (191 cm) and weighing 187 lbs (85 kg), he is a left-handed player with a two-handed backhand.
Naso's tennis career began with successful performances in junior tournaments, where he achieved a ranking of world No. 19 in the junior category.
Professional Career
Naso turned professional in 2008 and has since won two ATP Challenger Tour doubles titles, both in partnership with his compatriot Walter Trusendi. Their victories came in Genoa and Todi, both in 2008.
Naso currently holds a ranking of No. 175 in singles and No. 471 in doubles. He has participated in Grand Slam qualifying tournaments for the Australian Open, French Open, US Open, and Wimbledon but has yet to progress beyond the qualifying rounds.
