Former professional tennis player
It is said that talent and long training are necessary for success in professional sports, but athletes themselves admit that nothing helps them as much as love and care at home, where they stop being global stars overnight and become loving husbands and wives, and caring parents. Despite the fact that Miroslava herself performed well in professional tennis, she gained the most fame as the wife of Roger Federer, who has repeatedly acknowledged that Miroslava, or as her close ones often call her, Mirka, had a significant influence on his success.

Biography of Miroslava Federer
Miroslava Federer, born Miroslava Vavrinec, is a former professional tennis player from Switzerland and the wife of popular tennis player Roger Federer. Until 2002, Miroslava had a fairly successful career in international tennis, but she never became a star. Her personal best was 76th place in singles according to the Women's Tennis Association, and she reached the 215th position in doubles. After retiring from the sport, Miroslava continued to appear on tennis courts, but this time to support her boyfriend and later husband, Roger Federer. The couple dated for over nine years, having met at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and they finally got married in 2009.

Early Life
Miroslava Federer, formerly known as Miroslava Vavrinec, was born on April 1, 1978, in Bojnice, Czechoslovakia. When she was only two years old, her family decided to move to Switzerland, although, as the girl herself recalls, her family often traveled throughout Europe. Miroslava's interest in tennis was not immediate. It was only in 1987, at the age of nine, that she attended a tennis tournament in Filderstadt, Germany, where she met Martina Navratilova, a Czech-American tennis player. Navratilova noticed the young girl's good physical shape and offered her a chance to try tennis. Martina sent her first racket and arranged a trial lesson for Miroslava to showcase her skills and receive an assessment from a professional coach.
Career Highlights
Miroslava Vavrinec reached the peak of her career in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She quickly entered the top 100 female tennis players in the world but never climbed higher than 76th place in the rankings. It was through tennis that she met her future boyfriend and husband, Roger Federer, with their first encounter taking place in 2000 at the Summer Olympics. Over the next few years, Mirka and Roger appeared together frequently and even competed together in the Hopman Cup in 2002. However, in the same year, she began experiencing problems with an old leg injury, and doctors insisted that she retire and avoid putting excessive strain on her leg to prevent complications. In the same year, Miroslava started helping Roger by becoming his public relations manager and right-hand. According to the athlete's own admission, without Miroslava's constant care and involvement, he would never have achieved everything he has received worldwide recognition for.
Personal Life
For almost nine years, the couple lived together and finally announced their long-awaited wedding in April 2009. Four months later, in July 2009, their twins, Myla Rose and Charlene Riva, were born. In May 2014, Miroslava gave birth to twins, Leo and Lenny. The family spends most of their time in their home located in Bottmingen, Switzerland.
