Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Jitain's musical journey began at an early age. As a schoolgirl, she sang in several bands, and as a teenager, she performed in a hard rock group that covered classics by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC. During this period, her vocal style was characterized by raw and guttural screaming, which sometimes led to vocal strain.
Pompeii 99 and Christian Death
In response to an advertisement in a newspaper, Jitain joined the band Pompeii 99, which released a few singles and one full-length album. Her next musical chapter saw her taking on the role of vocalist for the iconic goth rock band Christian Death.
Solo Career and Motherhood
After her stint with Christian Death, Jitain embarked on a solo career. As a successful vocalist and musician, she became the proud mother of two children: son Sevan and daughter Zara.
