Early Career and Journeyman Years
Elvis Brašnić began his football journey in his native Bosnia and Herzegovina. After departing from Trogalv following their relegation from the Premier League in 2002, he joined FK Žepče. Brašnić's breakthrough came in the 2004 season, earning a spot in the starting lineup. In 2005, he made two UEFA Cup appearances for Žepče against Bashkimi Kumanovo.
Move to Croatia and VNK Inter
Early in 2006, Brašnić transitioned to the Croatian league, signing with NK Inter Zaprešić. Inter suffered relegation to the Second League that season, but bounced back as champions a year later. However, Brašnić remained in the Second League, spending the 2007/08 season with NK Segesta. In 2008, he rejoined Inter Zaprešić, making 17 appearances in the First League.
International Career
Brašnić made his international debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina in February 2004, at the age of 29. He went on to collect eight caps for his country, including appearances in 2010 World Cup qualifiers against Turkey and Armenia.
Later Career and Achievements
In 2010, Brašnić embarked on a new adventure overseas, joining Vietnamese club Sông Lam Nghệ An. He achieved success in Vietnam, winning the Vietnamese Cup in 2010.
