Grace Park (born on March 14, 1974) is a Canadian actress of Korean descent. She was born in Los Angeles, California, but her family moved to Canada when she was twenty-two months old. Park graduated from high school in 1992 and went on to attend the University of Victoria, where she earned a degree in psychology.

After college, Park spent a year considering a career in acting. She began her professional journey in the modeling industry, but her breakthrough came in 2000 when she made her film debut as a dancer in the movie "Romeo Must Die." The film starred Jet Li and the late Aaliyah. That same year, she also landed the role of Shannon Ng in the Canadian teen drama series "Edgemont".

Park's career continued to flourish as she secured several guest roles in various television shows. In 2000 and 2001, she appeared in projects such as "The Immortal," "Outer Limits," and "Dark Angel." During this time, Park also embarked on a romantic relationship with Korean-born developer Phil Kim.

In 2002, Park returned to the big screen, portraying Charmaine in the feature film "L.A. Law: The Movie." She then had roles in the series "Stargate SG-1" in 2002 and "Jake 2.0" in 2003. However, her breakthrough role came in 2003 when she was cast as pilot Sharon "Boomer" Valerii in the television miniseries remake of "Battlestar Galactica," a modern adaptation of the 1978 series and film of the same name. The project received critical acclaim and was nominated for three Emmy Awards. It also won a Saturn Award for Best Television Presentation.

Following the success of "Battlestar Galactica," Park returned to guest roles in various television series. In 2004, she appeared in "Andromeda" and "The Dead Zone." Shortly after, "Battlestar Galactica" was turned into a full-fledged series, and Park reprised her role as Valerii.

Currently, Park is one of the main cast members in the A&E project "The Cleaner" and the Canadian CBC series "The Border." Grace Park has proven her versatility and talent in both film and television, solidifying her status as one of the industry's respected actresses.
