Early Life and Career

Guillermo Burdisso, an Argentine footballer, was born into a footballing family with his brother, Nicolás Burdisso, also a renowned player. Burdisso began his professional career in 2006 with "El Porvenir," where he played for three games before moving to "River Plate" in 2008. However, he did not make any appearances for the club's first team.

Breakthrough at Rosario Central

In 2009, Burdisso joined "Rosario Central," where he established himself as a regular starter. He made his debut for the club on February 27, 2009, in a 1-3 loss against "Banfield." The following game saw him score his first goal for "Rosario" against "San Lorenzo." Burdisso went on to become a key player for the team, appearing in 44 matches and scoring 4 goals.

Move to Europe: AS Roma and Arsenal de Sarandí

Despite his impressive performances, "Rosario Central" was relegated to Argentina's second division at the end of the 2010 season. Burdisso then moved to Italian club "AS Roma" on loan with an option to purchase for €4.7 million. He made his Serie A debut on September 11, 2010, in a 1-5 defeat to "Cagliari."
